About CoachCompare
An independent, student-first guide to exam-prep coaching. We exist to make the "which coaching should I join?" decision honest, cited, and free for the student.
Who we are
CoachCompare is run independently — we are not owned by, funded by, or affiliated with any coaching institute. The site is built by someone who was once a confused aspirant staring at the same choice you are. Our only loyalty is to the student making the decision.
How we make money (in full)
The student never pays us a rupee. We keep the lights on through the sources below — and we tell you exactly what they are, because a comparison site that hides its incentives can't be trusted.
-
Affiliate commissionsIf you click through to an institute and buy, some of them pay us a referral commission. It costs you nothing extra, and — critically — it never changes our rankings, our reviews, or what the student feedback says. Links that earn us a commission are disclosed.
-
Display advertisingWe may show ads on some pages. Advertisers cannot buy a better review, a higher placement, or the removal of a criticism.
-
Owned audience (email / Telegram)We plan to run free alerts on price drops and new batches. These may contain affiliate links, always disclosed. We will never sell your data.
What we will never do
Our declarations
- ✓Money never reorders rankings. If the honest answer is "the option we don't earn from is better here," we say so.
- ✓Every good and bad is cited. Each point in an overview links back to the real review it came from — Play Store, iOS App Store, YouTube or Quora.
- ✓Fees are labelled by source. "Published fees" come from the institute's own site; "reported by students" means the institute doesn't publish fees and the figure comes from what students said in reviews.
- ✓Vendor-planted reviews are detected and excluded. We flag "reviews" written by an institute's own staff or affiliates so they can't inflate a verdict.
- ✓We report, we don't accuse. Negatives are shown as attributed aggregates ("several students report…"), not as our own allegations.
- ✓Right to reply. Any institute can contact us for a correction, and we act on verifiable ones.
How we review (methodology)
For each institute we collect fees and package details, then gather real student reviews from multiple public sources. We de-duplicate them, filter out vendor-planted content, and summarise the recurring goods and bads — deliberately sampling both praise and criticism so the picture isn't tilted. Every page carries a "verified on" date; when an institute changes its fees or a new wave of reviews lands, the page is refreshed.
Corrections & contact
Spotted something wrong, or an institute wanting to respond? Verifiable corrections are made promptly and noted on the page — and we don't remove accurate criticism. Get in touch →
